Metal is pretty good, but clearly been used. Most of the flathead screws are somewhat boogered up, not terrible, but not like new. Action is very slick. This Glenfield Model 30A is chambered in 30-30 Win and sports a Tasco Pronghorn 3-9x32 scope and an Allen neoprene sling. The front and rear iron sights are still attached. When I Run Factory ammo over my Chrony they are all Close the Marlin is on average 30fps faster than the 94 the 788 with it's 22' Barrel is 30 fps faster than the 30 Glenfeild Marlin.
