Mar 6, 2017 · My guess is the pump is the issue. Repop pumps, like sensors and thermostats, aren't very good. Try priming it by pressing the start button with no brake for a few seconds. Then if it starts with the brake / Start button then it's the fuel pump not holding it's pressure. To fix it, I would stop the car, shut the ignition off, open the door, turn it back on and the problem would be resolved. A couple of days ago it did the same thing and now nothing seems to work to get it to turn back on. Always starts first but won’t come back on after you turn off at gas station or after short drive. Brake is sort of hard can’t press through. No failure messages.
