Devils lake ice fishing reports
July 23, 2023. . I’ve made the switch over to Devils Lake here for a couple weeks. One observation from here is the future of this lake is going to be great! We are seeing tons of 10 to 12 inch walleyes mixed in with the keeper fish. It doesn’t seem to matter where you are at they are definitely around and in good numbers.

Typically, the early ice bite on Devils Lake is pretty good. The fish always seem to be in the same areas year in and year out at this time. The mid-section of winter can vary from year to year. This winter it has been extremely difficult to find a consistent bite day in and day out.
